startup bootcamp
A startup bootcamp for aspiring entrepreneurs
The Entrepreneurial Summer program and competition is a partnership between Canada Startup Company and Newton Marie Accelerated School of Innovation (NMASI) to provide a one time , free opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs.
The top participant gets $50,000 in financing on their project and a chance to get full sponsorship to come to canada and launch their business (in case you’re not from canada).
During the ten week program, participants will learn to launch their own business and social ventures. By the end of the program, they will be able to
- Develop a plan for launching a venture.
- Define customers and customer segments.
- Test their ideas in the real world.
- Market through multiple channels
- Understand how customers, employers, and colleges view them and their strengths.
- Present their ideas to potential investors and advocates.

Weekly webinars (twice per week)
- 60 minutes each
- 8 am - 9 am EST (2 days a week)

Slack App Learning Management and Communication System (available continuously)
- Students will have access to the Slack app, which will allow them to message mentors, receive assignments, review recitation presentations, post assignments and project updates, and collaborate with other students.
Guest Lectures by Entrepreneurs & Dedicated mentorship
- Students will have the opportunity to meet successful entrepreneurs, hear lessons learned and get their questions answered.
- These Subject Matter Experts will be renowned speakers from different spheres of entrepreneurial domain focusing on one specific topic at a time
- On top of it , shortlisted candidates will be assigned dedicated mentors to guide them throughout the MVP phase.
